Cylindrical reamers
A cylindrical reamer consists of a cutting part, a neck and a shank. On the left tool face, edge is chamfered at the angle of 45о, which facilitates reamer’s entering into the cavity and helps to protect cutting edges from impact. Further, the tool includes a taper lead, its teeth take off the processed oversize. The taper lead and the chamfer constitute the cutting part of the reamer.
